Tree, Wreath & Gingerbread Designers

Interested in becoming a designer for Kennedy Krieger's Festival of Trees 2008?

Festival of Trees unique and picturesque setting is created by the beautiful donations from Baltimore’s talented designers. The designers are able to showcase their creative and artistic abilities while making a tremendous contribution to the children of Kennedy Krieger Institute.

Christmas tree We are always looking for creative people to help increase the holiday magic of Festival of Trees by designing a tree, wreath, or gingerbread house.

Your creation should be considered your donation to the Festival of Trees. Each design will be priced for the public to purchase, thus raising money for the children of Kennedy Krieger Institute.

In appreciation of your donation, each designer’s name will appear in the Festival of Trees program, receive complimentary tickets, and will be eligible for an award.

Tree Designers
Designers can choose between, or decorate both a 7½-foot tree, or a two foot tree. Let your imagination take over, trees can be decorated with any style or theme you choose. Designers provide all decorating and display materials for their tree(s). Kennedy Krieger Institute will provide all artificial trees and tree stands. Decorations chosen to be used at the base of the tree should be considered part of your donation as well. Wreath Any decorating under the tree is optional; if you choose not to, snow will be used. Tree decorating will take place on-site at the Cow Palace on Sunday and Monday, prior to the event opening.

Wreath Designers
Create a wreath to be displayed and sold on-site at Festival of Trees. Use your imagination and create a wreath for any season. Wreaths must be artificial or dried. All decorating and display materials should be included as part of your donation to Kennedy Krieger Institute.

Gingerbread House Designers
Create a gingerbread house to be part of the magnificent World of Gingerbread display. The gingerbread structures are created by everyone from culinary art professionals, to the boy scouts and girl scouts. All decorating and display materials should be included as part of your donation to Kennedy Krieger Institute.
