Festival of Trees | November 26–28, 2021
Grab the lights and cue the holiday music: The 32nd annual Festival of Trees is scheduled to return November 26–28 for three days of holiday fun that benefits the patients, students and programs at Kennedy Krieger Institute.
For the second year in a row, we’re reimagining the Festival into a COVID-19-safe event. Thanks to our amazing supporters, Festival of Trees 2020 exceeded all of our expectations! The online format offered us a chance to try a fresh approach to the event, which attracted 30,000 households online. As we move forward with this year’s Festival, the reputation of our event allows us to proceed with confidence and innovation.
The magical setting of Kennedy Krieger’s reimagined Festival of Trees, the largest family-focused holiday festival of its kind on the East Coast, provides the perfect opportunity for your organization to connect with families in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
The focal point of the event is the online display and sale of hundreds of one-of-a-kind designer-decorated holiday trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses created by local businesses, individuals, schools and community groups.
Adding to the fun are dozens of seasonal vendors; a huge online auction; live and on-demand entertainment; a Santa sack’s worth of online activities like coloring pages, recipes and crafts; and more!
Festival of Trees benefits the more than 25,000 children, adolescents and adults served by Kennedy Krieger each year by raising funds for patient care, education and research. The Institute specializes in treating individuals with disorders, diseases and injuries that impact the nervous system, and funds raised by the Festival—nearly $24 million since its inception—help to further that work.
